Westmount School would like to thank Christine Warrack and her 4H crew who volunteered their time last weekend to work on our Naturalization Area. They also donated a HUGE pile of woodchips. Thank you so much for all your hard work! We would also like to thank Ted David and his crew for their work as well. Mr. David not only worked Saturday morning but was back through the weekend removing the old perimeter poles, and cleaning up the site.
The many volunteers were able to remove the rotting perimeter poles, remove some dying trees, plant three Spruce trees and spread a mountain of woodchips throughout the area. Thank you again for all your hard work!!
There will be another workbee to finish the work in the area on Saturday, June 16. We will be installing a new perimiter, planting more trees and landscaping the south side of the hill. Any parents who are interested in helping out please contract the school to let us know.
We hope to see you on the 16th!!
