Strive Program Teachers
I started my teaching career in Scotland, then I met my husband Kenny who was in the military. This led me on an adventure to new places and new teaching experiences. We have 3 grown up children who are working and studying at university. I love to read, potter in the garden and travel to new places.
In 2007 my husband retired from the army and we decided to make Canada our new home. After a year as an EA in Carseland, and some teaching in Hussar and Drumhellar, I was lucky to find my dream job at Westmount school. I have now been teaching the Strive program for 10 years. I have always had a passion for teaching children with diverse needs, and I can honestly say that I come into school each day with a smile on my face. Although it can get a little crazy at times, each day is a new adventure.
Always laugh when you can. It is cheap medicine. (Lord Byron)
