Hi there!

My name is Sarah Rommens and I am so fortunate to be a part of the grade 5 team here at Westmount. 

I have lived in Strathmore for 16 years now and this is my third year at Westmount. Before arriving at Westmount, I spent 1 year at Vancouver Island University and 5 more years at the University of Calgary. My first year of teaching was just down the road at Wheatland Elementary. I have always known that I wanted to be a teacher, I actually come from a long line of teachers. The best part about being a teacher is getting to meet so many amazing students each year, and watching them grow as they make their way through the grades.

When I am not at school, you might see me on the lake, in the mountains, camping, spending time with my nieces and nephew or walking my dog "Timber".
